Mr. Betolaza is the founder of Black Toro Capital, member of the board at Hyperloop Transportation Technologies, Senior Advisor for Europe at bp Energy Partners and member of the International Advisory Board at IE Business School. Ramon has over 25 years of global investment experience in Private Equity across Europe, USA and Asia.
Mr. Betolaza’s appointment to AMPT Advisory Council marks the beginning of a strategic action to expand AMPT’s reach and influence to shape the glob al Frontier Materials ecosystem through thought leadership, and unrivalled commitment to the use of Frontier Materials to solve some of humanity’s most pressing challenges.

In his past career he held the position of Chairman of ADL Bionatur Solutions SA, CEO & Vice-Chairman at Trea Asset Management SGIIC SA, Partner at MatlinPatterson Global Advisers LLC and Director-Distressed Group at Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Ltd. Mr. Betolaza received an MBA from Instituto de Empresa SL and an undergraduate degree from the University of Deusto.
